Walking in Schladming – my little adventure with Kacey & Joey
Sometimes it's the little things that make the vacation special – like the shared moments with our four-legged friend. I love to set off with my dogs Kacey & Joey when the sun rises over Schladming and the Enns sparkles in soft light.
A round that I always enjoy taking with them is our Ennsrunde. It's a bit like a small break in the midst of the vacation hustle – just Kacey, Joey, me, and nature.
Ennsrunde in Schladming
The walking path along the Enns in the east of Schladming is a real highlight for us. Here, Kacey can sniff to her heart's content while I enjoy nature.
📍 Starting point: Right in the center of Schladming, towards Congress Schladming.
🕒 Duration: about 1 hour and 26 minutes
📏 Distance: approx. 6 km
We usually start at Congress Schladming and follow the road until we reach the pedestrian bridge (Gollobsteg) after about 200 meters. Then we cross the Enns and continue along the left bank until we reach the Lehenbrücke. We either take the same way back or briefly turn onto Klausweg before following the footpath along the tracks back to the starting point at the level crossing.
💡 My tip:
Near the Athletic Area, there is a dog meadow – perfect for a little breather and some playtime.
